How we get the personal information and why we have it
Orange Juice Communications organises and supports healthcare education initiatives, campaigns, events and professional networks. In delivering these activities, we may collect and process personal information from individuals who register for or participate in our events, campaigns, educational activities and networks, or who engage with us in a professional capacity.
The personal information we process is generally provided directly by individuals when they register, sign up, express an interest in or otherwise engage with our activities. We may use this information for the following purposes:
Event and activity administration: To manage registrations, respond to queries and facilitate the effective and smooth running of our healthcare education activities, campaigns and events.
Communication and updates: To provide relevant information about registered activities, including joining instructions, agendas, programme updates, follow-up communications and other information relating to participation.
Professional networks and educational initiatives: To administer professional networks, distribute newsletters and educational resources, and share relevant updates and information about upcoming activities.
Sponsor and partner communications: Where relevant, to facilitate communications and activities involving event sponsors, partners and other organisations supporting our healthcare education initiatives and campaigns. These may include pharmaceutical companies.
Healthcare education, campaigns and events: Where individuals have opted in to receive such communications, to provide information about other relevant healthcare education initiatives, campaigns and events organised or supported by Orange Juice Communications.
Where appropriate, we may share certain personal information, such as names, job titles and places of work, with relevant event partners, sponsors and other participating organisations. This may include pharmaceutical companies supporting or sponsoring an activity. Any sharing of personal information will be subject to the purpose of the activity and applicable data protection requirements.
We may also share relevant information supplied by sponsors, partners or other third parties before, during or after an event or activity, where appropriate and in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.
Optional updates from Orange Juice Communications
We may offer individuals the opportunity to sign up to receive updates about healthcare education initiatives, campaigns and events organised or supported by Orange Juice Communications. This is optional and is separate from any information needed to administer an individual's registration for a particular event, network or activity.
Where individuals choose to receive these updates, we may contact them with relevant information about upcoming activities. Individuals can withdraw their consent to these communications at any time.

How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored.
We keep information relating to your registration and / or sponsorship, including contact information, for 12 months. We will then dispose of your information by 1) destroying paper documents permanently and securely 2) permanently removing or deleting data from computers / electronic devices.

Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
